Ower client is a reference company in the industrial sector.
• Determination of demand and procurement of materials for production according to planned production or forecast (in line with product formulations and according to advised sourcing strategy).
• Pricing negotiations (only in defined range of suppliers), support for negotiations on higher level, providing price lists, rebate and accrual information, etc.
• Attending meetings with suppliers (operational topics to be discussed with own responsibility, higher level topics in accordance with sourcing management)
• Data analysis and reporting (forecasts, inventory level development, slow movings, turnover statistics, etc.)
• Supplier Complaint/Claim processing and follow up.
• Consignment stock settlement (if applicable)
• Definition of safety stocks using the company tools
• Ensure on time availability of materials aligned with production plan demand.
• Bachelor's in business administration or engineering (preferably)
• 1 year of professional experience or an internship
• Language skills: Proficiency in English and French
• Personal skills: teamworking, reliable, persistent, good communicator, very good sense of time; ability to work under timely pressure, prioritize
