Junior Property Manager

As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a Junior Property Manager to join our team and support the continued development and quality of our properties. About the role As a Junior Property Manager, you will support the oversight, quality control and general condition of a defined portfolio of properties, ensuring that each villa is maintained to SandyBlue’s standards and is ready to welcome guests. This is a developmental role. You will initially work closely with experienced Property Managers and the Property Management Team Lead, building your knowledge of our properties, standards and processes. As your experience and confidence grow, you will gradually take responsibility for your own portfolio. SandyBlue’s mission is to provide a high-quality service that delights our clients and exceeds their expectations. For this reason, the role requires a strong customer focus towards both property owners and guests. Responsibilities include: * Understanding SandyBlue’s objectives and how your work contributes to the overall guest and owner experience. * Acting as an ambassador for SandyBlue by helping ensure that properties are maintained to consistently high standards throughout the year. * Supporting positive and professional relationships with property owners and keeping them informed about the condition of their properties and any relevant works. * Ensuring that the interiors and exteriors of assigned properties are maintained to a very high standard. * Conducting regular, pre-arrival and post-stay inspections. * Identifying maintenance, presentation or operational issues and proposing appropriate solutions. * Coordinating with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Guest & Owner Services and third-party suppliers to ensure issues are resolved efficiently. * Following up on outstanding actions to ensure timely completion. * Identifying seasonal and preventive maintenance requirements. * Supporting the preparation of year-end property inventories and reports, including recommendations to improve property standards and guest experience. * Contributing ideas that may improve the quality, presentation and overall performance of the properties. About you This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive and attentive to detail, with an interest in developing a career in property management, hospitality or tourism. You do not need to already be an experienced Property Manager. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn. You should: * Be organised, disciplined and efficient. * Communicate professionally with property owners, colleagues, suppliers and managers. * Have a strong eye for detail and be able to identify maintenance, presentation or safety issues. * Be proactive and take ownership of assigned responsibilities. * Have a practical and solution-focused approach to problems. * Be comfortable following up on issues until they are resolved. * Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to manage your own responsibilities. * Maintain a strong customer-service mindset towards both owners and guests. * Be fluent in English and Portuguese, with strong written and verbal communication skills. * Be flexible to work weekends and during peak periods when required. * Hold a full, valid driving licence. Previous experience or education in hospitality, tourism, property management or a related area is preferred. Additional languages are an advantage.
